I was called by an old customer that had used me before.

He had engaged a polish guy to fit a lock and handles to his front door. Shown on the left.

I had to remove the handles [they were falling off anyway], the escutcheon or key hole cover [not for this type of lock. And lock itself.

I replaced the lock with a Legge 5 lever BS3621:2007 and some premium handles in brass. Ialso replaced the keep for something a little more substantial [the keep belonging to the BS3621 lock].
