We are contacted by inlaws concerned that there parents for example suffering from dementia or alzheimers for example are leaving the key in the lock on the inside.

This prevents carers or relatives from gaining entry by using there own key.

Then having to call an emergency locksmith to gain entry. Overtime costly.

So they contact us in relation to this matter and enquire about thumb turn locks. Thumb turn locks aren't the answer as they can create confusion and can lead the door being left open.

So whats the solution?

A.L.S. Locksmiths can supply and fit locks that can still be opened from the outside even when the key has been left in the lock from the inside and the door has been locked.

The keys are standard key type and not the bladed key type often associated with high security keys so they look similar to what was there so no confusion.

Using locks like these can provide the security to the home but also allow for an emergency gain entry function should you require access to the home.

Locks can be supplied so that they all work with the same key.
